Tuscan Ride

1 Day 30/07 Arrival day in Pisa airport transfer to Siena at the B&B. After the bike fitting a short bike ride (about 28 km) around the B&B with beautiful landscape, small village, ice on the way. Dinner at the B&B

Day 2 Loop in Val di Merse. Length: about 65 km with a visit to the very famous Abbey of San Galgano with the legend of the sword in the stone. We visit the medieval village of Chiusdino where we stop for a coffee and lunch on the way back to the B&B. If you wish we can organize an afternoon wine tasting (Chianti) at a local farm (just 15 minutes from the B&B). Costs € 10.00. In the evening we dine in the restaurant near the B&B just 2 km.

Day 3 From the B&B to Montalcino, famous for the Brunello wine and because we are on the UNESCO list in Val d'Orcia. Free lunch in Montalcino and in the afternoon we drive back to the B&B where we have a delicious dinner. Length of the ride: about 55 km with a piece of gravel from the Strade Bianche

Day 4 loop from the B&B through a natural park, Montagnola Senese, a very nice drive with back roads, castles, small villages, churches, coffee on the way and lunch on the way. 60km. Then pool, beer and we will bring you to Siena for a visit and dinner in the city

Day 5 From the B&B to San Gimignano 60 km of free time in the famous Unesco listed medieval village. In the afternoon we transfer the group to the B&B with van, pool, beer and dinner in a restaurant near the B&B just 3 km

Day 6 loop in the Chianti area, famous for the wine, the small country roads, the villages and for l'Eroica, the vintage cycling event. 60km with a stop in Gaiole in Chianti where start and finish L'Eroica and lunch in a very nice restaurant with a fixed menu for cyclists. Transfer by bus to the B&B, relax in the pool and dinner in the B&B with a last pizza party in the garden
