 Preparation:

 
 Make sure the wheel hub and cone are clean and free of dirt.
 
 Check the dust ring for damage; it must be flexible and undamaged for a good seal.

 Placement:

 
 Carefully slide the right cone with dust ring onto the hub axle on the right side of the wheel.
 
 Turn the cone clockwise until it is snug, but not too tight to prevent play in the hub.
