The Hebie Chainglider 38T Long Nexus 5-speed front section is the front section of the popular floating chainguard, specifically designed for bicycles and e-bikes with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub and a 38-tooth chainring. This longer "Long" model accommodates a wider axle spacing, making it ideal for many modern e-bikes with mid-drive motors.

 Construction and protection
 The Chainglider encloses the chain around the front chainring and, together with the rear chainring, forms a virtually closed system. The floating design means no additional brackets are required for the frame or engine; the Chainglider rests around the chain and sprockets. This reduces maintenance, as dirt, water, and mud are much less likely to reach the chain, and it prevents dirty trouser legs.
