An oil change should be performed annually or at least every 5,000 km. This process ensures there will always be sufficient oil in the hub, regardless of oil loss, and that any moisture that has entered is flushed away.

 Additional information:
 During an oil change, a small amount of residual oil remains on the surfaces of all internal transmission components. This volume, which cannot be removed during the oil change process, can total approximately 12.5 ml.

 The reduced oil volume in our oil change kits, combined with the remaining oil still in each SPEEDHUB, ensures that the previously specified 25ml of oil is still present to ensure the proper operation and optimal performance of each SPEEDHUB 500/14 transmission.

 To ensure the flushing process is as thorough as possible, the volume of 'flushing oil' remains 25 ml per oil change, as before.
