 The short 2mm section of the D-Light spoke reduces weight, especially at the threaded end. This section begins right at the start of the thread, significantly reducing the rotating masses at the end of the spoke. This improves both the wheel's acceleration and braking performance. The use of 14G nipples offers a wide range of combination possibilities.

 The center section has been enlarged to 1.65mm, resulting in a stiffer spoke and less torsion during truing than a 1.5mm center section. This simplifies the wheel building process.
