 The benefits of a new compound
 Based on an active silica compound, a material was sought for the Performance segment. After extensive research, our R&D department developed a new compound with excellent grip and durability. This new rubber, with the obvious name "PureGrip," follows directly on from the BlackChili Compound and is used on racing and mountain bikes in the Performance class. This tire, with its exceptional grip and durability, is produced exclusively at our Continental factory in Hefei, Asia.
